Overseas Filipino workers express concerns after President Duterte’s State of the Nation address

CHICAGO — The fight continues for Filipino activists in Chicago, as their concerns about the Duterte administration hit closer to home.

Around 50 activists rallied after the president’s State of the Nation address on Monday.

    According to Roger Bayudan (Chicago born Fil-Am), should be ashamed of themselves for criticizing President Duterte and they should atleast look at Chicago first before they start running their mouth. Chicago is or still one of the most dangerous places to live in…It is really embarrassing to see young Fil-Ams (wearing ICHR) out in the streets of Chicago chanting things they do not know about… It is so obvious that the older members in the background coached the younger members to say wrong information about human rights violations. If your family, friends, relatives are using drugs and they start shooting, the cops would need to defend themselves and others.
