Over two dozen wildfires continue to burn across California

Over two dozen wildfires continue to burn across California, destroying over a thousand structures and prompting more than 100,000 people to leave their homes.

Some of the largest flames are just about one-fourth contained. Three of them are in Northern California, scorching hundreds of thousands of acres across Napa, Sonoma, and Solano Counties, as well as Santa Clara and San Mateo.

Weather authorities have warned air quality in the area is very poor due to the heavy smoke.

Officials say those living in affected areas should make sure to heed government safety protocols, as these flames have already killed at least seven people.
