OTWOListas flock to Sacramento for first-ever fans’ day event

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Thousands of “On the Wings of Love” fans or OTWOListas gathered to participate in activities, share their love for the show, and to meet and greet with the stars: James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Paolo Avelino, and Kyla.

The fan support for the show was so great that the safety of the stars became an issue.

“I stood in line for some of the booths and to see Paolo and take a picture with him but it was so crazy that ended up taking him out and no one got to take pictures with him because people would ambush them,” said Agnes Mae Cabauatan of South San Francisco.

Fans in the Bay Area have extra love for James Reid’s character “Clark” because of the connection they share.

“It was cool seeing the beginning how he was representing the Warriors in his apartment with all the Warriors stuff,” said Marjorie Flores of San Francisco.

During the show James and Nadine created memorable moments for some lucky fans.

Nadine’s biggest fan and viral sensation, eight-year-old Blake got to meet her in person.

Mary Ann Romero, a bachelorette who traveled from Los Angeles, also had an unforgettable moment on stage with James on stage!

“All I could say was that this was the best bachelorette party ever,” said Romero. “Who can say, brides-to-be was serenaded by James Reid?”

And the stars made sure to let their fans know how much they appreciate their love and support.

“We can’t thank you enough and you know that we love you guys and we hope enjoy the show,” said James.

“Super thankful,” said Nadine. “You’ve been so supportive like when we got here at the airport there so many people I know you waited so long even here thank you much and I love you.”
