As authorities in downtown Ottawa searched for suspects in the Parliament Hill shooting, kababayans in the area were among those ordered to shelter in place during the investigation. We spoke with Balitang Canada correspondent Vanessa Merjudio via phone to get a picture of how Ottowans, including our kababayan, were coping amid the shooting aftermath.
