Obama’s extended immigration relief programs halted by Texas judge

LOS ANGELES – Just a day before undocumented immigrants could begin applying for President Barack Obama’s expanded Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program or DACA, a federal judge in Texas is temporarily blocking the relief measures through a preliminary injunction issued on Monday.

The injunction does not declare Obama’s actions illegal, but it stops his administration from implementing them until the courts rule on their constitutionality.

Twenty-six states filed lawsuits trying to stop the executive order that allows undocumented immigrants to temporarily stay and work in America.

The Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson says the administration will appeal that court order. But for now, it must comply with the court ruling.

Meanwhile in Los Angeles, undocumented immigrants and their advocates expressed shock and dismay on the ruling.

While they say they remain hopeful help will come soon, for now they’ll have to wait.

“This by the court is political,” Jorge Mario Cabrera of the Coalition for Humane Immigration Reform LA said. “Once it reaches the Court of Appeals and the 5th Circuit, we believe it’s going to thrown out and hopefully soon we will renew the application process for both DACA and DAPA. It will probably take a few more weeks, maybe a few more months, until the court has decided. But we do believe that we have history on our side and the law on our side.”

Once again, a small minority of states demands their will be imposed upon the disapproving majority. 34 states refused to comply with the ACA & DAPA .

A mandatory stay in jail until the fine is paid off . Deport them, they’re criminals and invaders. They have no Constitutional rights. Those rights are reserved for legal citizens. A MANDATORY $250,000 fine and a year in jail PER ILLEGAL would end this crap overnight.

These illegal gluttons break into OUR house, bust into the buffet line, pile their plates high, lick the plates clean and then steal the silverware. Gimme a damn break. I have no compassion or empathy left for these grifters.

@ cat , This time i hope Obama is pretty much bungle up with enough rope on his throat and can no longer bastardized this nation. “The federal court order Monday temporarily blocking the Obama administration’s de facto amnesty of millions of illegal aliens confirmed that President Obama never signed an executive order and or executive actions following his Nov. 20 address to the nation on immigration.”

Apparently when Obama said he signed the Executive Order he was lying again. He sure lies whenever it strikes him. I remember reading or hearing somewhere that Obama didn’t signed Executive Orders or Executive Actions, all he did was to put it in a memo and presto , de Facto ‘law’.

Obama have deceitfully gone around the “take care clause” in the Constitution by his weaseling “memos” to his subordinates thus fully violating the Administrative Procedure Act. Obama is a Traitor.

After all there is a real judge who is doing a really good job!!! Thank goodness we still have one who’s got the courage to stop anything illegal these days. So it’s political says Cabrera??? Maybe Cabrera needs to eat more rice or beans to realize that DACA/DAPA and all other programs supporting the illegals are all political…

The deceiver in chief attempted to illegally delay the deportation of four million illegals, through his stooge, Secretary Johnson. He slowly decided not to sign an executive order because he is on record MULTIPLE times stating that he does not have the authority to do it.

Gutless Obama Knew he’d be Impeached if he issued an Executive Order granting Amnesty. He tried a head feint and an end run and got tackled in the backfield for a Loss. Now He has to put up or shut up. Clearly the DHS has ZERO Authority to Change any existing Laws, to refuse to enforce any Laws or to advance a criminal conspiracy to circumvent existing Laws.

obobo’s executive order of illegal alien amnesty, climate change, as well as the obobocare are all being challenged in the court law, all the way to SCOTUS. obobo should also be sued for his being pro muslim, defending islam religion, opening up gross negligence on the lives of the americans, the very people obobo must protect from the jihadist islamists determined to carry out genocides to western civilization with their unstoppable building of nuclear weapon. the worthless united nations / obobo who is not a leader have done nothing, but purely BS yaks were all ineffective to stop the nuclear weapon building in the name of islam.

all of obobo’s action choices are poor / costly. the taxpayers hard earned dollars were all wasted by obobo’s squandering of taxpayer’s money. every single proposal of obobo have the dollar signs, that make the citizens sick of vomitus. the illegal alien amnesty of obobo will cost the millions of taxpayers, they earned with their sweats. crazy obobo did not protect the liquid asset of the US Treasury, who is now BROKE. obobo operates by borrowing trillions from china to fund all his free for all schemes to woo voters to vote for demonicraps.

Hopefully Rep. Trey Gowdy will do a really good job in shutting down President Obamas extended immigration relief…
