REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – As President Barack Obama embarks on an eight-day trip to Asia, he leaves behind a promise to America’s undocumented immigrants that he will not fail them.

In an interview aired Sunday on the CBS show “Face the Nation,” President Obama vowed to move forward with an executive order that would grant legal status to most of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States, provided they pay any penalties, learn English, and get to the back of the line.

This, after House Speaker John Boehner and other Republican leaders gave him a stern warning not to take matters in his own hands – but President Obama is undeterred.

“I’d prefer, and still prefer, to see it done through Congress, but everyday that I wait, we’re deporting people that shouldn’t be deported,” said Obama. “We’re not deporting folks that are dangerous and need to be deported. So, John, I’m going to give you some time, but if you can’t get it done before the end of the year, I’m going to have to take the steps that I can.”

This controversial move from the president is keeping Capitol Hill talking.

“If more executive actions are taken, it would make it difficult for us to always work together,” said Rep. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

“The president has the authority to act by executive order on immigration,” said Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. “It’s in the law, but it’s also in the precedent of other presidents.”

As President Obama mulls over finalizing his plans to issue executive orders on immigration he is also shifting his focus to foreign affairs. The president is in China for the Apec Summit – a meeting of world leaders and business people from along the Pacific Rim.

“This year, of course, has seen its share of turmoil and uncertainty,” said Obama, “but whether it’s our fight to degrade and destroy the terrorist network known as ISIL, or to contain and combat the Ebola epidemic in West Africa – the one constant, the one global necessity, is and has been American leadership, and that leadership in the world is backed by the renewed strength of our economy at home.”

When it comes to fighting ISIS, President Obama is sending 1,500 more soldiers to Iraq.

President Obama will not visit the Philippines during his eight-day Asia trip. And even as he boasts of his administration’s achievements abroad, upon his return to the U.S., kababayans will be among undocumented immigrants who will hold him accountable for his promises to finally fix America’s broken immigration system.

Under the Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 “Congress controls Naturalization or Citizenship”. Not the Imperial Emperor in the White House.

American people are much more supportive of Impeachment than the politicians realize. We must stop ILLEGAL AMNESTY at any cost, even if it means kicking Obama out.NO amnesty. NO work permits. NO nothing but deportation.

Executive orders were never intended to be used by OBAMAEBOLA to push his personal agenda, which has been rejected by Congress, and which most Americans do not want. If Obama uses (misuses) executive order to unilaterally grant amnesty to millions of foreign criminal illegal immigrants, he will be removed from office. By force if necessary.

this guy is indeed in the midst of of a suicidal decision. his action ruled by his insane ideologue is seriously endangering the sovereignty of the USA. condoning illegal aliens invasion, freely living in your face illegalities is the free fall of america about to transpire, as this bureaucratic clown is taunting his adversaries in both congress and the judicial system as his hurrah to bandage his bruised ego, and a tit for tat post election defeat, trying hard to self lift his lame duck rank, that have gone globally viral, all the way to china. the chinese political powerhouse is shaming him for his failures, and in turn exposed america’s position at a standstill as a weak nation, under this jester king ruining america.
