REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – A nine-year-old Fil-Am got a special shout-out from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle during the fourth annual “Kid’s State Dinner” that celebrates healthy eating.
Aria Pelaez of San Francisco created a California rainbow taco with mckale slaw and “Barack-amole” dip.
“I looked over the menu and the food looks outstanding,” said Obama. “I’m particularly impressed with the “Barack-amole”. So I’m expecting people to save me a little sampling of the “Barack-amole.”
Pelaez was given this opportunity after entering and winning the health and lunch competition that was sponsored by the First Lady.
