New Yorkers create Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower, and the President is not happy about it

NEW YORK — This Black Lives Matter mural is impossible to miss, especially for those living and working at the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.

President Trump made known his feelings on Twitter — saying this big, expensive, yellow BLM sign denigrates the luxury shopping avenue.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton, were among those who painted the mural.

“Let me tell you, we are not denigrating anything. We are liberating Fifth Avenue. We are lifting Fifth Avenue. Who built this city? Who built this nation and never got the acknowledgment, the recognition, the compensation? So when we say ‘Black Lives Matter,’ there is no more American statement, there is no more patriotic statement, because there is no America without Black America.”

It didn’t take long for Trump supporters to crash the peaceful Black Lives Matter mural area and attempted to take over the message and change the narrative.

For these Fil-Ams New Yorkers, the fact that there is a growing number of Asian Americans — including Filipinos — who are being racially targeted across the nation is enough for them to stand in solidarity with the black lives matter movement.

President Trump may have called these murals as “symbols of hate” – but more Black Lives Matter murals are being planned for all of the NYC boroughs.

PAINTING the street of 5th Avenue, will NOT win Votes, they called this GRAFFITI a form of Vandalism. Voters will remember Mayor De Blasio, who want to abolished the Police force and replace it with BLM. US voter are smart, they use common sense.
