The 2020 NBA All-Star weekend in Chicago saw six Miami Heat players featured in various events.

For Kendrick Nunn, who participated in the rising stars challenge, Coach Erik Spoelstra’s has been a big boost in his early success.

“Man, spo’s been a great help man, he’s been teaching me along the way, definitely an experienced coach obviously, he’s just showing me a lot, teaching me on the floor to be patient and things like that.”

On all-star Saturday, the Heat’s Bam Adebayo came out victorious in the skills challenge.

Before the all-star game last Sunday night the league honored the late Kobe Bryant.

First to speak to the audience was Laker legend Magic Johnson.

In the fourth quarter, the clock was turned off and the target score was set adding 24 points to the cumulative score of the team in the lead.

In the end, it was a close game that ended with a winning free-throw from Anthony Davis 157 to 155, to give team LeBron the win.

Kawhi Leonard was a judged MVP and took home the very first all-star game Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP Award.

For James, he felt the night honoring Kobe and Gianna at All-Star weekend was very fitting and he felt Kobe’s presence throughout the game.
