LAS VEGAS – The “Filipino Wrecking Machine” of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is ready to rumble this coming Saturday as he headlines UFC Fight Night 41 in Berlin, Germany.

Mark Munoz versus Gegard Mousasi is the main event of the night. This will determine who will climb the ladder in the middleweight division.

“I’m very well prepared. I’m ready for this fight. No reservations going on for this fight. Magaling ang training ko… So very well prepared for this fight,” said Munoz.

In an exclusive conversation via Skype, Munoz is not only ready but he is confident that his wrestling skills and extraordinary take-downs will prevail.

“Kase, I watched his fights and [in] his fights, he has trouble with wrestlers so, I’m very good in wrestling and that’s what I do and I’m gonna go out and exploit that weakness but at the same time, it’s a mixed martial arts fight. I know that I have to look out for striking so I’m not concerned with his record. He has lost to a guy who had less fights than me, it’s whoever can execute their moves the best is gonna win the fight,” explained the “Filipino Wrecking Machine.”

Munoz seems unfazed of Mousasi’s fight record. The Dutch-Armenian holds an MMA record of 34 wins and 4 losses, while Munoz holds a record of 13 victories and 4 defeats.

“I prepared for whoever I’m gonna fight. if I was the underdog, I still believe that I’m gonna win the fight,” he said.

Munoz adds that 28-year-old Mousasi may be a young and hungry fighter but he assures fight fans that he will do his best to win this fight.

“I don’t think he’s gonna want to take me down kase mas mahusay ang striking si Mousasi than me but at the same time, mas mahusay ang wrestling ko kesa kay Mousasi… The thing is, I’m gonna take him down, he knows that. But at the same time, I’m gonna punch him too. He is a very good opponent and I just look forward to a good fight,” he said.

Meanwhile, the current odds for this match shows that Munoz is at a +220, while the Dutchman Mousasi is at a minus 300. This shows that the Filipino Wrecking Machine is the underdog of this fight.
