Meet the U.S. Department of State’s third-ranking official, a Filipino American

The U.S. Department of State’s third-ranking official is Filipino-American. Meet Brian Joseph Bulatao, a Harvard and West Point alum who is out to make a difference in the U.S.-Philippines alliance, as undersecretary of state for management.

The Filipino-American is the third-ranking official of the U.S. Department of State, where he manages day-to-day operations.

He was sworn to office by his friend and former west point classmate U.S. secretary of state Mike Pompeo.

Bulatao joined Philippine ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez at the Kennedy Center in celebration of Philippine Independence on Monday.

“I’m very honored to be here tonight, help commemorate this auspicious celebration of the anniversary of the proclamation of Philippines independence. We have a great partnership between the U.S. and the Philippines.”

He says, the U.S.-Philippines alliance is the strongest one in Asia and will continue to be, especially with a Filipino-American in the U.S. Department of State.

    MIKE POMPEO Secretary of State, graduated top of his class West Point Academy class of 1986. Trump appointed his”MISTA” classmate MARK ESPER as new DEFENSE Secretary another McArthur type General former decorated combat, Airborne officer,. Then another “MISTA” a Fil-Am BRIAN BULATAO as Undersecretary, the OPERATION officer of our Country… Class of 1986 West Point are in power, some times good, sometimes dangerous. I wish we will not go to war.
