REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Floyd Mayweather Jr. is denying the statements made by Manny Pacquiao and his promoter Bob Arum, regarding talks about a much anticipated dream fight between the two boxing stars.

Pacquiao has said publicly that he has been in contact with Mayweather’s camp about setting up the possible fight.

While Mayweather said in an ESPN report that it is “not true”.

Mayweather goes on to say that the reason why Pacquiao and Arum are making these statements is because they are trying to sell tickets for Pacquiao’s November fight with undefeated Chris Algieri.

Meanwhile Mayweather is scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana for the second time this Saturday night in Las Vegas.

After the Maidana fight, Mayweather says he will fight only two more times before retiring in 2015.
