Maria Ressa on upcoming Philippine elections: “possibly the end of democracy as we know it”

Rappler CEO and renowned journalist Maria Ressa is one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential persons in 2019.

“Losing an independent Senate is game over” for the checks and balances in the Philippine governments, she told Filipino press club members.

    Maria Ressa is recognized by Times Magazine, a left-center bias media outlet, would you believed that, says the New York based Doctor William Gener-Med Acob. She’s like a kid growing in the Phillipines, she couldn’t get the ice cream, she drops to the floor, start rolling over while kicking everything and yelling nonsense about democracy? There is an overwhelming media coverage from ABS-CBN, Rappler, and Inquirer and it’s all done by exaggeration. Of course, Maria is not tough enough to say or admit she violated laws regarding the ownership of Rappler, instead, she telling one sided stories…
