DALLAS, TX — Friends have created a makeshift memorial in front of the Arlington home of Alyssa Marie Mejia Rogers, a 24-year old Pinay who was allegedly murdered by her estranged husband, 66-year-old Edward Rogers.
Alyssa’s body was found stashed inside a deep freezer by authorities on Monday morning, after they responded to a tip by a friend of Edward’s, who claimed that Edward shown him Alyssa’s body.
Edward then committed suicide, according to police.
Court records showed Edward’s long history of violence against Alyssa. He had been accused of choking her twice.
Friends who created the makeshift memorial also visited the area in the couple’s home where Alyssa reportedly lost her life.
