CHICAGO — Lea Salonga yet again wowed her fans recently as she sang with her full band, in her two-hour concert at the Copernicus Center in Chicago.
When the 48-year-old singer broke her tibia in January from a skiing trip in Japan, fans were worried that her Human Heart concert tour would be canceled.
During Lea’s earlier concerts, she was on a wheelchair and, sometimes, in crutches.
But her concert in Chicago was the very first time since her injury to sing standing, with no major assistive device.
And her fans say that Lea, being in this industry for four decades, is a legend; and legends are never forgotten.
Lea ends her concert in the U.S. and Canada at the end of this month and will head to the UK for a concert in July and in Austalia in November.
