“The fire turned out to be fueled by what we believed to be about 60 mile-per-hour winds plus or minus and the terrain up there in that area is very rugged. Throughout the night, the fire continued to push, wind-driven, down toward the community of Geyserville,” said Mike Parkes, from the CA Dept. of Forestry and Fire Protection.
According to statisticalatlas.com, Sonoma County is home to about 3600 Filipinos, which make up 0.72 percent of the population.
Evacuation centers have been set up throughout the area to assist those who were forced to evacuate.
