SAN FRANCISCO — It was on December 23rd when Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Utah Jazz, in exchange for Dante Exum and two future second-round draft picks.
Clarkson was brought in to add strength to the second unit, with his average of 14-point-six points, two-point-four assists, and two-point-four rebounds per game.
He is also very aware he went from a rebuilding Cavs team to a contending Jazz team.
“Playing hard, taking every day step by step, coming out here trying to win games and grow as a team. That’s it. Every day. So you know I’m taking it one day at a time, coming out and playing hard, and effect this any way I can.”
Clarkson sent a message to his Filipino fans:
“Just thank you. Thank you for support. [I’ll] continue to try to keep representing and I’ll be over there soon, hopefully this summer.”
