John Moralde looks to follow success of training partners Aston Palicte and Romero Duno
It’s fight week at the Rodel Mayor Boxing Academy.
Aston Palicte is gearing up for a world title shot against Donnie Nietes, while Romero Duno stays in fighting shape, waiting for his next Golden Boy assignment.
But a third warrior is also gearing up for the biggest fight of his career.
John Moralde will take on Olympian Jamel Herring in Fresno on September 14th, for the United States Boxing Association featherweight title.
Training alongside Palicte and Duno has helped motivate the Davao City-born fighter even more.
With Fight Week days away, Moralde says he’s in good shape, just needing to shave off a few pounds before he takes on the 17-and-2 Herring.
