Joe Biden takes command of Super Tuesday 2

Former vice president Joe Biden takes command of the race to become the Democratic party’s presidential nominee.

Biden swept important primary states after Tuesday’s contests, including a critical win over Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in Michigan.

Two campaigns are not cancelling their upcoming events leading up to the next presidential debate on Saturday, and to the next big nominating contests next Tuesday, with 577 delegates at stake.
