Regardless of situation or circumstance, nobody would want to see anyone die. It is sad to see that such death occurred. Our heart and prayers goes out to the family of deceased Laude. We hope that the family of Laude will find justice. However, scrapping the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) is of no consequence. We need VFA in thwarting China out of the disputed islands. The biggest mistake we made was to terminate our contract with the U.S. Forces and drove them away. It was in no time China took advantage of the situation.
