Redwood City – The wrong help can hurt, this is the warning of the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service, to undocumented immigrants who are seeking desperate help in processing their papers here in the country.

The agency says getting assistance from unauthorized practitioners can:

·        Delay your application

·        Cost unnecessary fees

·        And possibly lead to deportation.

Notario publico

Notary publics are people appointed by state governments to witness the signing of important documents and administer oaths. They are not authorized to provide any legal services related to immigration.

“Guaranteed” green cards

No business can ever guarantee legal status here in the us. These companies can charge you high fees or claim they can process your documents faster.

Immigration help websites

Do not pay for blank USCIS forms either in person or over the internet. All immigration forms are free  from their official website.

Visa lottery

It is true that the department of state gives out 50,000 diversity visas through a lottery.

But emails and websites that claim they can help you apply or have and edge on the selection are fraudulent. The only way to apply for the lottery is through an official government application process.

Some local businesses, websites and individuals use the term INS. This agency no longer exists! Anyone who still claims they can help you process your applications with the INS are frauds.

If you been a victim of an immigration services scam, and need to find help? You can report them to the federal trade commission at,   or go directly to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement website, for more information.

This is outrageous , topic avoid a scam, all illegals are scam themself already . Why else will they enjoy life if they dont scam people and this country.

IF Amnesty passes you can kiss the American dream gooodbye. America will soon no longer be the land of European descendents. It will be the land of African and Latin descendants and culture. Many people seem happy with that but let me ask you to look at Mexico and South America, look at Spain, look across Africa and defend them because over time that is what the US will become. If you see lands of greater opportunity and greater, more diverse, more equal societies, please name and defend them. Where is the economic opportunity? America as it was 200 years ago and has been since is the land of freedom and opportunity. To think otherwise is dreaming and will diminish the American dream.

Survey and research and Facts show that Ameica is becoming the counyy of minorities and that doesn’t count us FILIPINOS ! When did Filipinos become WHITES? wThe Philippines may have been a commonwealth but our roots are still Filipinos not Americans.. Its sad that many are now the rotten fish on the water, tulad ng sabi ni Joee Rizal. Ang Pilipinong hindi marunong magmahal sa kanyang sariling wika at daig pa ang isang mabahaong isda !
