Immigration expert: Obama will veto any bill aiming to overturn executive action

NEW YORK – House Republicans vow to introduce a bill as early as January 2015 to stop President Obama’s recent executive action on immigration, according to legal news website The National Review.

But immigration Attorney Michael Gurfinkel says, while the Republicans will be more likely to get that legislation on the President’s table, Obama may be forced to exercise his veto power.

“He’s not going to sign a law that basically says he does not have the power or authority,” says Gurfinkel. “No, the president is going to sign a law like that…”

Under the first DACA, more than half a million undocumented immigrants have benefitted from 2012 to the first quarter of 2014.

But the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) reports that a small fraction – only 3,500 Filipinos – account for that number.

An estimated 20,000 Filipinos qualify for DACA nationwide, but not all are coming out to file applications.

Gurfinkel says there is no reason for Filipinos to be afraid to come out of the shadows.

“I just think it’s cruel and unrealistic for the Republicans to take this away from these hardworking people who only wish, desire, and dream to live and work in America and contribute,” said Atty. Garfinkel.

It is estimated that it will cost billions of dollars to deport all five million DACA or DAPA eligible individuals, while the US government is expected to gain billions of dollars in filing fees and future tax revenues under the DACA and DAPA programs.

The GOP-RINOs supported Obama, while the GOP-Tea Party conservatives and some moderate Democrats and Governors, will try to stop the executive action, which is against the Constitution. DACA and DAPA eligible are being convinced by lawyers to file now, just a reminder, once you apply, your name & address will be recorded at the USCIS and it is easy to locate you for deportation, the same thing when filling your driver license. With the politics going on now, there might be delay on the implementation and hoping the immigration agent will not come to your house to deport you.

This crap makes my brain bleed. I honestly think that’s what the politicians bank on when it comes to this stuff.

Here’s what I found on the issue of executive orders vs. executive actions. This one paragraph even contradicts itself.

    “Executive Actions Versus Executive Orders”

Executive actions are any informal proposals or moves by the president. The term executive action itself is vague and can be used to describe almost anything the president calls on Congress or his administration to do. But most executive actions carry no legal weight. Those that do actually set policy can be invalidated by the courts or undone by legislation passed by Congress.

The terms executive action and executive order are not interchangeable. Executive orders are legally binding and published in the Federal Register, though they also can be reversed by the courts and Congress.

the american taxpayers billions will be well spent in deporting illegal aliens. what difference does it make (killery’s famous line dance BS), the truth – there are billions of government waste, wherein the lives, lifestyle of the people worsened with billions to trillions squandered by obozo. spending more billions to clean the US soil with lawless, illegal aliens is a good thing, like cleaning house once and for all. this as well will send a very strong signal – the USA do not mess around with illegal aliens. if any aliens of the world want to enter america, then these aliens must do it the legal way or else you all will be shown the deportation highway.

gurfinkel is FOS, he should just come clean and straight to the point, the fact this illegal aliens amnesty are dollar signs, to fill up his pockets, just like the rest like himself into purely self interests. the consistent claims of immigration lawyers like gurfinkel, that billions tax revenues will bolster, by giving legal leeways to illegal aliens are nothing but bullcraps, the exact opposite have been the proven outcome, and worst. how in the world, these illegal aliens hiding for decades are going to be prosperous taxpayers, when the majority are unskilled, have been living off on other people’s hard earned dollars as welfare recipients using their anchor babies, milking the so called government socialistic systems are their forte. yes, sireee immigration lawyers are all into blabbing fairytale, la, la, la stuffs to keep them in business.
