LOS ANGELES— Federal investigators leading the search for possible suspects on the fatal bombings at the Boston Marathon on Monday said they have no solid leads nor motives for the attacks.
No one has also claimed responsibility for what President Obama and Federal authorities are labeling an “act of violence.”
Police have identified several persons of interest; reportedly taken at least three Saudi nationals for questioning. Local Boston reports also said authorities searched an apartment at the Revere neighborhood of Boston, but were not able find any evidence linked them to the bombings.
Authorities said they are also on the lookout for a dark-skinned male in a hood, wearing a backpack who was attempting to enter a restricted area prior to the explosion.
The FBI’s Boston Division is now for the public’s for any leads, information or evidence which may help their investigation.
