House votes to approve impeachment managers, send articles of impeachment to Senate for trial

The impeachment trial against President Donald Trump is in motion.

House Democrats, including Fil-Am Congressmen TJ Cox of California and Bobby Scott of Virginia, are sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate on Wednesday evening — after House members voted on the resolution earlier in the day.

The House also approved seven lawmakers, named by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who will serve as managers — tasked to present a very strong case for Trump’s impeachment and removal.

Among them — Representative Jerry Nadler of New York, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Representative Adam Schiff of California, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
