REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Desperate times call for desperate measures, and desperate Democrats say they will push through with a procedural maneuver called discharge petition to try to force a vote on immigration reform.

Minority Whip Steny Hoyer says that Democratic leaders in the House will try to make sure immigration reform is voted on by the House by the end of the month.

A discharge petition would allow House Democrats to bring immigration reform to a vote after a week-long recess that ends on March 24.

But Hoyer admits it may be difficult to get 218 members of the House to agree on a discharge petition.

But he says it has a purpose—it will get the House to talk about immigration reform once again.

Republicans hold the majority in the House.

Critics of immigration reform say they refuse to bring the bill to a vote because they cannot trust President Obama to enforce existing laws.

The fact is, if the minority at HR wants to bring to the floor a discharge petition in a congress were the majority leader is holding a vote is because they know they have the enough votes to do it. Be smart and think…..do u really believe a minority will try to vote a petition if they know will be defeated? Close to the November elections? Why majority leader is holding the vote in a bill passed by Senate? Why is afraid to bring the bill to vote at HR floor? Guys….be smart, you can nor hide the sun with youe finger….We the peoole wants a comprehensive immigratiin reform to be passed in both chambers, and that is a fact. This time, the GOP and Tea Party chamber’s pixies have not more tricks to delay a CIR. The square is simmethryc and the compass is open to take this country from the dark to the light.

Right now there are 20Million unemployed, now you add another 10-20M illegals .We the taxpayers, hard working Americans will pay for their food stamps, healthcare, education of their children… The Republican has about 40 job creation bills pending on the Senate, and yet the Democrat controlled Senate blamed the GOP for not doing their job.

You are a typical libtard. When you cannot reason or prove facts you start
Using the race card or resort to name calling

There are 92 million unemployed or underemployed…that’s what is immediate

secure the border first. Blanket amnesty will include terrorists, gang bangers and pedoohiles

How about the 4 million waiting patiently and following the law..and doing it legally?

Legal immigration requires a proper background and medical investigation
So America does not get any undesirables

Should we grant amnesty to the illegal that went on a shooting spree in Ohio
