Holy Week travel disrupted for San Francisco PAL passengers

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Some kababayans in California are experiencing travel troubles this Holy Week as several Philippine Airlines flights from San Francisco to Manila, and vice versa, have been delayed for at least 24 hours.

The canceled PAL flights include:

  • PR 105 SFO-MNL March 29
  • PR 104 MNL-SFO March 30
  • PR 105 SFO-MNL March 31

The delays were due to a maintenance check, according to a statement issued by PAL’s corporate communications department in Manila to Balitang America.

Affected passengers for Tuesday night’s 11:30 pm flight to Manila received an email announcing the cancellation, with no explanation, except an instruction to standby for further details on the new schedule.

its not true that they sent an email. We have not received any email telling us of the cancellation. We don’t think it’s a maintenance problem. In our experience with PAL, this is uncalled for.
