The Philippines is now experiencing the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak, according to Philippine the country’s health secretary Francisco Duque III.
“We are now in the second wave, and we are doing everything to flatten the curve,” Duque said.
Duque’s statement comes as the Philippines’ COVID-19 tally breached the 13,000 confirmed cases mark. The government says it is working on funds to buy vaccines as soon as they become available in the market.
