HONOLULU, HI — For these Filipino fans in Hawaii, there’s nothing like seeing kapamilya stars they admire performing right in front of their very eyes.
Thousands of fans have flocked here at the Neil Blaisdell Arena because for the very first time, ASAP has come to the Aloha State.
This is the 7th time ASAP was brought abroad by TFC Live.
More than 30 stars were brought to Honolulu from Manila, ready to entertain at Saturday’s event that was completely sold-out.
“All the festivities started this morning. As early as 10 am, we opened the doors for all the activities that happened in the TFC marketplace,” said TFC’s Ricky Resurreccion.
It was important for TFC to bring joy to Filipinos in Hawaii, where they have become the largest ethnic group.
“Hawaii is a very important piece of TFC’s history. It was in Hawaii where TFC first got carried into a cable system. If it wasn’t for Hawaii, TFC wouldn’t have had its start,” said Jun del Rosario, TFC managing director.
Along with the ASAP cast members, TFC made sure that it was a day Filipino fans in Hawaii will never ever forget.
