Game 3: Steph Curry steps up despite the Warriors’ setbacks in the NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors were clearly the underdogs in game 3, thanks to the loss of starting center Kevon Looney and the continued absence of Kevin Durant and now Klay Thompson.

It was clear golden state needed a herculean effort from 2-time MVP Steph Curry who waxed hot early.

But the Raptors were ready to respond and they did it collectively as a team and held on to the halftime lead, 60 – 52.
