From ideas to screen: A sneak peek into the extraordinary work of Pixar animators

It was in 2013 when Pixar animators started work on their latest movie “Onward.”

It tells the story of two brothers named Ian and Barley, played, respectively, by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt.

Madeline Sharafian is its story lead, drawing the sequences in the movie.

Part of her job is presenting her work to the team pitch meeting and even acting and doing the voices of the characters.

Kelsey Mann is the film’s story supervisor.

His job is to help the director translate ideas to the screen and make sure that they have the kind of story that grabs the audience from the beginning.
