Former U.S. President Barack Obama has enlisted various inspiring celebrities and notable speakers to salute the class of 2020 through a May 16 multimedia special event called “Graduate Together.”

Due to the pandemic, graduation ceremonies around the nation have been canceled.

Graduating students have previously posted their requests on Twitter for President Obama to deliver a commencement speech for them.

He will be joined by LeBron James, Filipina-American singer H.E.R., Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington, “Dear Evan Hansen” star Ben Platt, Jonas Brothers, and many others.

Other stars joining the Obamas in celebrating the class of 2020 are Zendaya, Lady Gaga, and K-Pop superstars BTS.

“Graduate Together” will be simulcast on ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, and in online platforms on May 16 at 8:00 pm.
