KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Close to ten thousand people gathered to celebrate “Fiesta Mo Sa Florida” at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimee, Florida on Saturday.

It’s one of the largest indoor Filipino events in the South.

Fiesta Mo Sa Florida showcased Filipino products, services, and authentic Pinoy cuisine.

“My girlfriend, who is away from the camera, is Filipino, and she feeds me very well,” said Josh Mallen, one of those who attended the event. “Oh it’s very delicious, delicious – best food I ever had.

The mayor of Kissimmee said, “It gives us an opportunity – Anglos like me – gives us an opportunity to learn about cultures of other parts of the world.”

Filipino beauty queens were also present and addressed the crowd during the fiesta.

The most awaited part of this one day fiesta was The Filipino Channel hour where Kapamilya stars Yeng Constantino and Bamboo brought the house down with their hit songs.

“I just love it – playing in front of all the families,” said Bamboo. “It’s a great feeling.”

Constantino, the soon-to-be-bride pop-rock princess said winning the Pinoy Dream Academy competition forever changed her life – and now she is ready to take on a new adventure: marrying her fiancé Victor Asuncion.

“Some people say I’m too young to get married. But I feel I’m going to miss out on many things if I don’t marry this guy. I’m just so happy with him,” said Constantino.
