Filipino montessori kids perform at New York’s Carnegie Hall

NEW YORK — The prestigious Carnegie Hall set the stage for a group of musical toddlers from the Philippines, who showed off their talents at a recent performance with a little encouragement from a surprise guest.

But the talent of these 16 pre-schooler members of the Philippine Montessori Center instrumental ensemble based in Quezon City is larger than this prestigious Carnegie Hall stage.

The Children’s Ensemble New York City performance on May 31st was part of their “Pinoys to the World Concert” series, which began in the Philippines in February.
