HOLLYWOOD – The 2016 Creative Arts Emmy held its annual celebration of artistic and technical achievements in TV shows.
It honors the exceptional work of the many artists who create television excellence behind the scenes.
This year’s awards show will air this September 17th on FXX.
The Filipino-American talents who brought home awards include the Pinoy members of outstanding choreography winners Quest Crew, “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” casting director Nicole Abellera Hallman, and Vanessa Hudgens, one of the stars of “Grease: Live” outstanding special class program winner.
The Emmy-nominated musicians of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” also took time to praise Lea Salonga who was a guest on the show. During taping, they say the Broadway star performed “one indescribable instant” take after take.
The Creative Arts Emmys gave out awards to TV programs of different genres, guest performances, animation, reality and documentary categories.
