CYPRESS, TX—Tension is still high a day after Tuesday’s stabbing attack at Lone Star College, despite the attempt of school officials to resume normal operations.
Zim Lovern, a Filipino-American student was in her Chemistry class when the incident happened.
Lovern recounted that she ran and locked herself in her car out of fear for her safety.
Dylan quick ,20, is accused of a carrying out a bloody stabbing rampage. He reportedly went from building to building and tried to slice anyone’s neck or face. CNN reports that Quick was born deaf.
The incident left 14 injured, with two still in critical condition.
This is the second time this year that violence has broken out in the Lone Star College system. A student was arrested January, after a shooting which two people were hurt on another campus.
Quick is now facing charges of aggravated assault. Police said the motive for the attacks is still under investigation.
