Filipino freshman UC Irvine student found dead in frat-related incident

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — A Filipino American freshman at UC Irvine died in an off campus-fraternity-related incident.

Noah Domingo was found dead over the weekend, the morning after reports of a party hosted by the fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Details of his death have not yet been released as an autopsy is pending, and are trying to determine what factors caused his death early Saturday morning.

In the meantime, the school has suspended the fraternity.

Domingo had grown up in Southern California, as a student athlete, and was pursuing sports medicine. His family remembers him for his willingness to help others.
