Filipino family targeted in racist rant on NYC subway

Another case of a Filipinos being targets of a hate-filled rant. This time it happened on a New York City subway train during the Memorial Day weekend.

The victims were a Filipino U.S. Navy veteran and his family.

The veteran and his wife and their two young children do not wish to be identified, but they sent these videos to Balitang America.

The videos show a person whom they describe as an African American male in his 20s verbally assaulting them on a train as they were headed to the World Trade Center memorial.

The Fil-Ams, who were visiting New York from Maryland, left the subway upset and unharmed.

They have since reported the incident to local authorities.

In recent months, there have been reports of an increased number of attacks in the New York transit system, and several cases have started out with racist rants.
