Filipino chefs host kamayan feast pop-up for a cause

From TED talks to kamayan feasts, New York-based chef Harold Villarosa reaches out to the local community in Vancouver with hopes of starting a greater awareness on social issues, from simply sharing a meal.

Villarosa was in Vancouver for the recent TED Talks, when he reached out to owners of Pinoy restaurant Kulinarya — and local chefs Mark Singson of Top Chef Canada fame, and Corbin Venida, for a unique kamayan pop-up.
