REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – New details have emerged in the San Diego, Calif. triple murder believed to have been carried out by a Filipino.

Authorities claim that Filipino-American suspect Carlo Mercado had entered the term “RIP” on his cell phone calendar the day that brothers Salvatore Belvedere and Gianni Belvedere, and Gianni’s fiancée, Ilona Flint, were believed to have been killed.

A judge has ruled that there is enough evidence to put Mercado on trial.

Forensic experts also went through files found on Mercado’s cell phones and computers, saying they found that Mercado had done searches on many violence and gun related items.

They also say they found an address close to where Gianni’s body and vehicle were found weeks after the shooting that left Salvatore and Flint dead in a mall parking lot.
