Filipino charged with stabbing wife to death in Hawaii

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Shocking news out of a Honolulu, Hawaii suburb where a Filipino man allegedly stabbed his wife to death.

A deputy prosecutor told a judge Tuesday that Pablo Fiesta Jr. stabbed his wife multiple times in front of their 10-year-old daughter, and then hit his wife in the head with a bottle of vinegar.

An Oahu grand jury has indicted the 46-year-old Fiesta with the murder of his wife Cecilia, who was found unresponsive in the couple’s home in Aliamanu on Aug. 17.

Fiesta’s bail has been set at $500,000.  He remains in custody.

Police say the family recently moved to Hawaii from the Philippines.
