Fil-Am Hollywood stars turned heads at Monday night’s annual Met Gala, considered one of the biggest and most exclusive fashion events.
This year’s theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” to coincide with an upcoming exhibition at the MET or the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York — and was inspired by irony, humor, theatricality and exaggeration.
Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Fil-Am actor Darren Criss stunned in his multicolored checkered blazer and campy makeup – channeling the harlequin character commedia Dell Arte.
Oscar-nominated Fil-Am actress Hailee Steinfeld rocked a ruffled gown by Viktor and Rolf with the words – No Photos Please – all while holding her own camera bag. This is the 22-year old’s 9th MET Gala appearance.
Other fashion standouts at the Met gala include rapper Cardi B, in a massive red quilted dress, reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner in feathered gowns, and singer Lady Gaga, who really took on the “Camp” theme with four outfit changes.
