In Chicago, three Filipino caregivers are accused of robbing their 94-year old patient of over $350,000.

The Cook County State Attorney’s Office said nursing assistant Carmelita Pasamba, has been charged with felony financial exploitation of a senior citizen.

Pasamba, who was a live-in caregiver, also reportedly hired her sister, Jocelyn Vargas, so they could provide round-the-clock care for the victim.

Records showed that three months after working for the victim, Carmelita hired a lawyer to draft a power of attorney that would give her control over the victim’s assets.

Prosecutors said she made herself the trustee and her husband, Edgardo, the executor of the will.

Authorities allege that for three years, Carmelita and her family stole over $350,000 from the victim, who suffers from dementia.

They reportedly renovated their home, bought new furniture and a Mercedes Benz.

Their next court date is scheduled on April 25.

Life term banned in America is most accurate ,after they return all the money they stoled and a fine . We can not afford to imprison anymore criminal , USA is broke plus when they get in jail , they will have a gutts to complain how unpleasant they get treated . So, I suggest they should be thrown out of the country and let the Philippine Government take care of this guys , thief and criminal.

We all knew if a Filipino wrinkled caregiver steering a Benz car doesn’t compliment each other but only to create suspicion. .
