A Filipino American church choir from the Bay Area has been invited to perform across the world.
Saint Augustine Children’s Choir and Chancel Choir from South San Francisco has been selected to represent the San Francisco Archdiocese, in the Rome Festival of Peace and Brotherhood.
This festival’s mission is to spread peace and cultural exchange through God’s music.
Various choirs will be visiting and singing at 8 different churches in Rome, Italy — with Saint Augustine’s Choir scheduled to sing at a Holy Mass in the famous Saint Peter’s Basilica.
The ensemble is bringing 25 children and 35 adults, along with 75 parishioners. The festival is set from March 21st to March 25th.
