Filipino-American goalkeeper Nick Rimando set another Major League Soccer record Wednesday night.
While leading Real Salt Lake to a 2-1 win over New York City FC, Rimando made his 1,475th career block, passing Kevin Hartman for the top spot on the all-time list.
Rimando made the record-setting save in his first appearance since suffering a leg injury in April.
After the game, he tweeted, “Felt great to be back out there. 3 points and to share another record with my teammates, club, and fans felt even better.”
The 37-year-old now holds records in five categories: blocks, wins, starts, minutes and shutouts.
