REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Some Filipino-American activists continue to call for the United States government to approve the Philippines’ request for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), disappointed that President Barack Obama failed to address this immigration relief measure during his recent two-day trip to the Philippines.
Member of the Southbay Taskforce Haiyan recently held a vigil in San Jose, California recently to remind the Obama government of the urgency in passing TPS. TPS would allow Filipinos with expiring or expired visas to stay and work in the U.S. as the Philippines recovers from Typhoon Yolanda.
In addition to continuing to push for TPS, these activists also encourage people in America to keep supporting ongoing Yolanda relief efforts.
Immigration lawyers still pushing this
Another twisted thought from a half-baked GI. Hundreds of thousands of people are wanting this. Have you heard about Donald Sterling who would not accept that blacks are no longer slaves. Emancipation will come as some folks would say and your pure hate will intensify and linger… poor baby….
Here’s more reason why TPS has been denied …. Filipino Muslims are harboring terrorist in deep southern part of the country and has been a hideout of one 911 terrorist .
So, one terrorist of 911 survived and hid in the Phils…. TPS hasn’t been denied, if it comes spotty, thanks to naysayers like you….
TPS ay magandang racket nang mga Immigration lawyers.” Kulang kasi ang binayad mo kaya hindi na aproban. Mag dagdag kapa para may pag asa ka” yaan ang sasabihin sa inyo..Umuwi nalang kayo….
