Fil-Am Trump supporters rally behind Trump, amid impeachment inquiry

With lawmakers back in Congress this week, House Democrats are moving full steam ahead with the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

The impeachment inquiry focuses on President Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy – where the U.S. president appeared to be pressing his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son.

Filipino Democrat voters said they welcome the impeachment investigations.

“May kasalanan talaga si Trump, yang impeachment tuloy talaga yan… dapat talaga matanggal,” said Emerald Betoya.

For his part, Trump has denied any wrongdoing, and on Tuesday, the President accused Democrats in a tweet that they are not being transparent with the process.

Trump added, “If Republicans ever did this they would be excoriated by the Fake News.”

His supporters continue to rally behind Trump.

“I don’t think he did anything wrong, I just think just it’s another reason Democrats just hate Trump, I don’t know why, they didn’t expect him to win, he’s a businessman, and he’s doing well, they’re bothered by that,” said Michael Gamba.

But political historian Allan Lichtman said: Trump’s phone call to the Ukrainian president was as ‘clear a quid pro quo as you are going to get’ – he also believes democrats have a clear case for impeachment.

“The Ukraine is dependent upon the United States. When the president makes that clear and asks you to do a favor, you are going to do it. And of course, what he asked the Ukraine to do was a gross abuse of presidential power.”

While some Trump supporters agree that Trump asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on his primary political rival for the 2020 election may be an abuse of presidential power –they’re letting him off the hook.

“I don’t agree with everything that he does … but you know what, as long as people are working, money in their pockets, unemployment is down, you know and you look at number, numbers don’t lie, he can be full of himself but numbers don’t lie.”

“Violation pero lahat naman nangangailangan ng tulong eh, binibigyan nga natin sila ng tulong… pero todo suporta pa rin kayo kay Trump? Todo suporta pa rin ako kay Trump… Iboboto ko pa rin siya sa 2020.”

This Trump supporter is concerned that if Trump is impeached – someone she dislikes could become President.

“Nancy is the third in line, if you take out President Trump, take out Pence, Nancy will be our president.”

This scenario is starting to get attention on social media.

#PresidentPelosi has been trending after the Democrats launched the impeachment inquiry on September 24th.

The Muller Russian Collusion started in Ukraine, this Impeachment will end in Ukraine. Democrat still crying for the defeat of HClinton, they blame Russia for helping Trump to win the election. They spend $40M on Muller but found nothing,no Russian collusion. Then Democrat revived the Russian Collusion and let Muller appear at Congress, still he did not change his decision, that is the end of Russian collusion. Then Ukraine came, when BIDEN involved on Ukraine OilCompany. Guiliani will come out soon and will exposed children of politicians who made so much money in Ukraine during the Obama regime. HUNTER BIDEN lead the pack, Jonh Kerry son in law, Mr Ketchup HEINZ were involved, the son of an influencial California politician according from Infowar was involved and many more. We will see, Trump is waiting for the NPelosi to make the vote to officially charge Trump for impeachment. Until now it is all INQUIRY, hearsay, drama, fishing expedition, telephone call to another leader is NOT impeachable.
