REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Case closed for Justin Casquejo, the Filipino American teenager who bypassed security to climb to the top of One World Trade Center.
Casquejo was sentenced last week to 23 days of community service. But he not only completed the service before the court date, he exceeded it with six additional days and also completed counseling.
Last March the Fil-Am daredevil managed to break into the One World Trade Center site made his way to the top of the tower before getting arrested.
After voluntarily submitting a 1,200-word apology essay, the judge told Casquejo that the court is impressed by his sincerity, remorse and willingness to accept responsibility.
