Fil-Am teachers fear PH gov’t could tag critical thinking lessons as terrorism

Teachers with Pinoy/Pinay Educational Partnerships, or PEP, believe that teaching and learning about the social movements by Filipinos and Filipino Americans could be seen as acts of terrorism. They said the Philippines’ anti-terror law gives authorities sweeping powers to identify and punish voices of dissent, even for Filipinos abroad.
