News on the Filipino American accused of terrorism who appeared in federal court in Los Angeles on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty.
Mark Steven Domingo appeared in a Los Angeles federal court to enter a not guilty plea during his arraignment.
The 26-year-old Filipino American was indicted by a federal grand jury for providing material support to terrorists and attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.
The charges carry a maximum life sentence in prison.
Dressed in a white prison jumpsuit, his facial hair had grown out. He was sporting two long braids.
There did not seem to be any family members in the courtroom as he made his brief appearance.
Domingo is scheduled to return to court on July 23rd.
Federal agents said he had been planning violent jihad since March with a long beach rally last April as his intended target.
