HOLLYWOOD – Some of Hollywood’s brightest Filipino-American talents partied and performed for an award winning dance champion.

Former America’s Best Dance Crew champion ChaChi Gonzales from the dance group I Am Me, celebrated her 18th birthday with her Filipino friends.

Disney star Roshon Fegan and recording artist Jasmine Villegas and her brother Dream, performed for the packed house, while Anna Maria Perez De Tagle also joined the party.

“It’s great to have her here,” Fegan said. “It’s great to be here with her to celebrate. So I’m just excited to party with her.”

Villegas said, “She’s such a sweet girl and I love her. I met her over a month ago and she’s just the sweetest, most bubbliest thing ever. She better have fun tonight.”

For the 18-year-old Mexican-American dancer who now has a Univision series, the Philippines is close to her heart where she spent some time in 2012 to teach dance classes. She even appeared on the popular ABS-CBN “It’s Show Time”.

“I’ve been there and it’s absolutely beautiful,” she said. “All the support there is.”

She added that a second Philippine trip was in her plans for the not-so-distant future.

“Hopefully before the end of next year, or before August,” she said. “Hoping for that.”
